The lighthouse of Grasøyane
After one week it’s time to leave Røst. A fantastic place far out in the sea, and good times filming.
In some days I will post some more beautiful aurora boralis photos.
See you soon!
Last night the northern light appeared above us:)
Good days in Lofoten, Norway.
I can´t really remember last time I experienced a rainbow like this monday. We had a family gathering at our holiday house, and on our way back home this beautiful rainbow appeared.
We did almost lost the ferry…
First I did use a Sony RX100 IV, but unfortunately the lens was not wide enough. After some running and gunning I took up my Canon 5D MarkIII with a 16mm wide lens.
This is the church of Åram. Here I use the Sony camera.
The ferry we took from Åram to Larsnes. Still using the Sony camera.
Here I am on board the ferry. Actually is was as yellow/orange as this. Now I use the Canon fullformat camera with the wide lens. I´m very happy I had it in my car.. This picture was impossible with the small Sony camera.
This was the scenery when turning the camera all the way around.
When arriving further into the fjord, a different light appeared. Not as yellow as earlier. And we still see the second rainbow.
Getting closer to Larsnes. Again I turned the camera all around.
This is Larsnes, my hometown. Nice with the rainbow all around;-)
Of course I could not stop photographing as long as the rainbow followed me. Here I have moved to Gjøneset. The rainbow ends where I photographed the first photos earlier.
This a showreel that I´ve filmed and edited. Please turn up the volume and enter full screen, enjoy;)
Today heavy clouds were above us.
Im still testing the new SonyRX100-IV camera. And this afternoon it was quite dark outside, but I think the camera managed it quite good. This first photo is maybe a litle blurry, but the other one´s is good.
The graveyard at Røst.
A lot of fish racks at this island.
This week I have a trip to Røst in Lofoten, a beautiful place at the edge of the world.
Did a trip on my local mountain this saturday, and brought my new compact Sony RX100 IV.
Here is some examples from the trip:
As you see, I played a litle with the panorama function in the camera. I have to use more time to get it right. I think the resolution is not good enough in this mode.
The RAW files seems to be quite good.
I´m proud to welcome our new partners to Tindefilm, Gry Molvær Hivju and Kristofer Hivju.
Gry is an earlier prize awarded TV hoast and film director. She is also an artist and photographer.
Kristofer is an actor, mostly known from Game of Thrones. He is also a screenwriter.
Tindefilm is greatful to have them both in our team! We will make a lot of exiting project in the future.

Hilde Nerland, producer. Tor Sivertstøl, director of photo. Kristofer Hivju, actor. Gry Molvær Hivju, director
This week has been quite a remarkable week. Last Thursday we(Tindefilm) won the Norwegian TV Oscar for best photo for our film Lysleite(hunting the light).
Lysleite is Tindefilm´s first production, so this was quite a huge achivement for us.
