Beautiful location when the weather is nice
The lighthouse of Grasøyane
My award winning film “hunting the light” is now online on Vimeo with english subtitles and bonus features.
These two images are quite unique.
It was like magic in the air. We enjoyed the sight of the lighthouse, when it suddenly started to snow. The light reflected the snow, and the magic appeared above.
On the second image, it had stopped snowing. That´s why the light is weaker, but still a nice shot, although the first one is my favorite.
This weekend I´ve had two beautiful days far out in Lofoten, actually as far out as you get. The island is called Skomvær, quite a unique place both for people and sheeps.
One of theese days we had a beautiful trip with the sailboat Storeggen in Ålesund.
We are making a film about Storeggen, the building of it, and the history of theese fishing boats existing in Norway at the 1800 century. This day we did some recordings with Tom Larsen.
Kristofer and Tom.
Director Gry Molvær Hivju, psaligrapher Karen Bit Vejle and me on a flight between Copenhagen and Oslo.

Yesterday we did some recordings for the movie about bankskøyta in Ålesund.
We traveled back to 1800 century, a girl(Noor) is waiting for her dad to come back from fishing.
Note the optics I’m using😉
This a showreel that I´ve filmed and edited. Please turn up the volume and enter full screen, enjoy;)
This week I have a trip to Røst in Lofoten, a beautiful place at the edge of the world.
I´m proud to welcome our new partners to Tindefilm, Gry Molvær Hivju and Kristofer Hivju.
Gry is an earlier prize awarded TV hoast and film director. She is also an artist and photographer.
Kristofer is an actor, mostly known from Game of Thrones. He is also a screenwriter.
Tindefilm is greatful to have them both in our team! We will make a lot of exiting project in the future.

Today I filmed Martine making a snowman. What do you think? A nice snowman? But I’m afraid he has left tomorrow…
Today I’ve filmed a scene in my home area, and of course a timelapse:)
Today I’ve been to Ålesund, the most beautiful town in Norway:)
I wanted to make a timelapse above the city, and here is a couple of pictures taken two hours apart:
The last one was captured first..
This afternoon I had a trip to Drageskaret, a mountain in my home area. A nice evening for timelapse shooting.
Earlier this month I travelled to Beijing for making a film about the paper clip artist Karen Bit Vejle. Her mission was to hold a big exhibition in Today Art Museum in Beijing. And my team in Tindefilm was there to make a documentary about her journey in China. The film will be ready in september next year, it will be a visual insight in Karen Bit Vejle´s life and artistic performance.
Here is some photos from our 14 days trip to China:
This was my photo gear suitcase. I tried to bring as litle as possible because we were travelling on tourist visum, and we didn´t want too much attention. I mostly used my Canon 5D MarkIII, but had also a BlackMagic pocket cinema camera as backup. Fantastic to use theese small cameras, and still work as a pro:-)
